The Kingfisher High School girls brought home the championship trophy last Tuesday from the Western Open hosted by Elgin at the Oklahoma City Tennis Center. Pictured are, from left: Guilia Scano, Kadyn Daugherty, Mia Franco, Jaelin Cortes, Emiley Watkins and Sydney Burk. Cortes and Daugherty teamed up to take first place in No. 1 doubles. Franco finished third in No. 1 singles and Watkins was the No. 2 singles consolation champ. Burk and Scano played No. 2 doubles. On Friday, the KHS boys played in the Owl Classic, also hosted by Elgin at the OKC Tennis Center. William Shaver, far left, placed third in No. 1 singles.
