Read moreHennessey United hosted a 90s-themed ladies’ social last Saturday. There were four honorees along with their guests. Michael Hobbs and Jamie Akenhead provided entertainment. A light lunch was prepared by co-hostesses Stacy Cline and Teresa Oliver. The honorees had crowns and special decorated cookies and manicures. Manicurists were HHS students Julissa Fraire, Addison Null-Kelly and Paige McNeely. Carnations were given to the ladies, courtesy of Annie’s Flowers. “And there was a lot of visiting,” said Cathy Howard, organizer. “I hope we can do it again next year and include a few more ladies.” This year’s guests were, seated from left: Patsy Pollard, Barbara Platt, Vera Burroughs and Virginia Kerr.
