Read moreKINGFISHER HIGH SCHOOL soccer got in a final tune-up Tuesday before the home stretch of district games to close out the regular season. The Lady Jackets downed visiting Harding Fine Arts 11-0 while the KHS boys downed Harding 10-0 in a pair of games that ended due to the mercy rule. For the Jackets, Eduardo De La Torre, Elijah Click and Chazen Padilla scored two goals apiece. The Jackets also got one from Abel Guzman (pictured left making a corner kick), Kaiden Eckart and Yahir Perez. Jennings Broddle scored a pair of goals for the Lady Jackets, as did Ashley De La Torre (pictured right celebrating one of them with teammate Liliana Garramone) and Aubree East. Also netting goals for KHS were Maya Haney, Tanisha Mercado, Ryann Shue and Magaly Charqueño Martinez. Their win evened their record at 4-4. The KHS boys moved to 5-5. [KT&FP Staff Photos]
