• Kingfisher Friends of the Library Book Sale is happening now and runs through this Saturday, Nov. 23. It’s taking place at the Kingfisher Memorial Library Community Room (505 W. Will Rogers Drive). Hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Proceeds will be used to promote children’s summer reading programs, Ancestry library edition for patrons’ use, help with promoting the library and supporting Children’s Story Time. Friends of the Library also assists with the Imagination Library program, which provides a free book each month to enrolled children through age 5. Donations also are accepted.
