Read moreKingfisher County’s annual Distinguished Young Woman scholarship program (formerly Junior Miss) is slated for 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 14, and involves four county high school juniors. This year’s talent will include two monologues (Stover and Hamil), singing (Davis) and piano (Themer.) “Life Is a Highway” is the theme of this year’s program, directed by Tiffanie Barnett and Katie Ward.
