Several dozen people were on hand Monday as the Kingfisher Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new location of the Kingfisher County Health Department. After a major remodeling project was completed on the property the department purchased at 421 W. Bowman, the move to the new facility was made in August 2022. Among those on hand for the ceremony were city, community and school leaders; members of the Kingfisher County Board of Health; current and former health department employees from the local and state level; and Kingfisher Chamber of Commerce board of directors members, among others.
