A plaque in recognition of the late Helen Cline and Hennessey High School seniors awarded scholarships in her honor was unveiled by the Hennessey Friends of the Library’s president, Jennifer Ullery. Cline’s family and other FOL members attended the Tuesday, Nov. 29, meeting in the library’s history museum. Pictured are (from left) three members of Cline’s family, Connie Cline, cousin; Pam Cline Haines, niece; Cathie Cline Arnold, sister; Ullery, and Frank Dinkler. Both Connie Cline and Dinkler were recognized as Lifetime FOL members. Library Director Steven Mitchell was asked for a report and said the recent lock-in that teens had requested went well. He also said Children’s Librarian Mikayala Beebe’s last day would be Jan. 16. Members discussed results of their annual pumpkin patch fundraiser, and Halloween Haunted Library.
