Okarche High School announced the January 2022 Students of the Month. These students are selected by the faculty based on a number of factors, including character demonstrated through compassion, honesty, trustworthiness, optimism and responsibility. Earning the honor were (left photo) freshman Avery Schieber and senior Abigail McIlvain. Also announced were the January Lion and Lioness. Students selected must be a junior or a senior and demonstrate qualities such as positive behavior and self-control, attitude toward others and learning, good citizenship, leadership and integrity, and responsibility.
