89th spring stock show on horizon

The 89th annual Kingfisher County Spring Livestock Show will be held Feb. 16-18 at the county fairgrounds in Kingfisher.

The annual bidders feed and premium auction will be held on Monday, Feb. 25, at the Exhibit Building at the fairgrounds, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Premiums on 100 head of livestock will be sold at the auction.

The annual events are sponsored by the Kingfisher Chamber of Commerce, Kingfisher County commissioners and the Kingfisher County Fair Board.

Shows officials include:

Livestock Shows Committee officers: Patrick Driskill, chair; Laramie Lopp, chair elect, and Stephanie Payne, immediate past chair.

Chamber of Commerce ag representative: BJ Waeger and Joe Voth.

Fair Board members: Mark Walta, president; Mike Witt, vice president; Kayla Meyer, secretary; Charles Patocka, treasurer; Avery Eeds, assistant secretary, and Frank Staude, Luke Lough, Shane Clifton, David Gerken, Jay Evans, and Jeff Hendricks, members.

County commissioners: Jeff Moss, District 1; Ray Alan Shimanek, District 2, and Heath Dobrovolny, District 3.

Auction committee and ring men: Chris Cameron, Dennis Themer, Russ Adams, Mike Frey, Luke Lough, Robbye Jones, David Krittenbrink, Bud Grabow, David Craig, Carl Storm and Kris Eaton.

Auction feed committee: Avery Eeds and Randall Newton, co-chairmen, and Mike Rosen, Heath Dobrovolny, Henry Senn, Ray Shimanek, BJ Waeger, Jeff Beutler, Lane Winter, Edward Wilczek, Zak Meyer, Jeff Moss, Chase Farrar, Jaramie Karcher, Johnnie McAlexander, Butch Kottwitz, Jeff Mitchell and Freddie Caulk.

Lippard Auctioneers will serve as auctioneer and Banc-First as sales clerk.
