All set to ignite a revival

Kelly K Ministries planning multi-day event here this weekend

A space helmet, an impromptu motorcycle ride and a word from God.

It’s not the beginning of your typical revival.

But there’s nothing typical about Kingfisher’s Kelly K either.

Ever since he totally surrendered his life to God over 12 years ago, Kelly Kopp has been on a mission to share the hope and love of God through his passionate, yet sometimes unconventional ways.

He’s a husband, father, pastor, author and traveling evangelist, with over 1 million followers through his Kelly K Ministries on Tik-Tok and another million on various other social media outlets.

Now he’s bringing that message to Kingfisher’s Newfield Community Park in a big way.

Growing up in Kingfi sher, Kelly had dreams of making it big in the music industry. He left his hometown after graduation and a bit of a troubled past as a youth in pursuit of those goals.

He went on to become a tour manager for some of the biggest rock bands around, but a near death car accident while on tour changed everything.

Kelly turned his life over to Jesus completely and never looked back.

He now travels the world with a different purpose, sharing love, hope, grace and peace through Jesus Christ.

Kelly eventually returned to Kingfisher where he now resides with his wife, Lindsay. Together they have five children: Brennen Murphy and husband Kyle, Chase Davis, Avery Davis, Jaxx Kopp and Jett Kopp.

Several years ago as the bandshell was being constructed at Newfield Community Park, Kelly said he noticed something odd resembling a space helmet and decided to check it out.

Stepping onto the platform of the half-dome structure, Kelly said he felt the Holy Spirit tell him “‘I’m sending revival right here. People will come from the north, the south, the east and the west. They will be healed, delivered, set free and marriages restored.’” So, for months he would come to the bandshell in the mornings, praying for the revival that was to come.

But it didn’t… With a full schedule not only spreading the good news through Kelly K Ministries, but serving as an associate pastor at Limitless Church, Kelly said life got busy and he forgot about it.

Fast forward to July 2025.

An impromptu motorcycle ride led Kelly back to God’s promise of revival.

As he and his son made a last-minute decision to take a motorcycle ride on July 4, Kelly said he reached out to his social media followers the day before to see if anyone wanted to tag along.

The response was overwhelming, he said.

Thousands from all over the country messaged back saying they would have come if only they would’ve had more notice.

A seed was planted…or more aptly revived.

It would be a motorcycle rally, Kelly said.

Why not add a car show and a concert, he added.

Maybe food trucks and speakers… “So I tell my wife, I’m going to turn this into a revival…that’s what we’re going to do,” Kelly said.

Then she reminded him of the space helmet and God’s revelation years ago.

“‘People are going to come from the north, south, east and west and God is going to heal,’” she recalled.

With a fuse lit, “Ignited Code Red” was born.

The two-day event promises to be a time of spiritual revival and worship with fun activities for the whole family.

It will be held this Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 30 and 31 in Newfield Community Park featuring guest speakers - Kelly K, Ryan Edberg, Jonah Wiley, Limitless Pastor Randy Henderson, Pastor Luke Aadalen and Pastor Mia Farrell.

The rock band Seventh Day Slumber, Christian rap artist Shonlock and the Limitless Church band will also be bringing the music.

Other activities include a motorcycle rally, car show, games, family activities, kids zone, food trucks and a motorcycle stunt show.

Once he began to share his plans on social media, Kelly said the response was amazing.

“They’re coming from all over and I’m excited to see what God will do,” Kelly said.

The world’s a dark place right now and people are looking for something that’s real, Kelly said.

They’re looking for truth and we have that in the Word of God, he added.

“God is hungry for the hearts of his people,” Kelly said.

“He doesn’t want their prayer of ‘I want a ticket to heaven,’ he wants your whole heart and that’s what we’re here to do. We’re going after the hearts of his people.”

Kelly’s ministry is focused on seeing people’s lives changed radically by encountering Jesus personally.

Dispelling the notion that true Christianity is boring, Kelly said it’s truly the pinnacle of fulfillment, fun, joy and peace.

With a goal to lead one billion (an eighth of the planet) to Jesus, Kelly expressed that the Bible says God doesn’t wish that anyone would perish or fall away and that’s why his ministry’s desire is to reach as many people as possible.

The goal is to bring more pop-up revivals everywhere, with Kingfisher being the first one, Kelly said.

“I just want people to come. I want people who are broken to come find peace, people who are hurting to come get healed and people whose marriages are falling apart to be restored…,” Kelly said.

“I want to see people give their hearts back to God, because I know what he’ll do with them.

“I know what he did with me. I was the worst of the worst. I don’t know anybody that was worse than me, more selfish than me, more evil, more self-seeking and I am the exact opposite of that today and it’s because of what He did.”
