It appears Kingfisher Public Schools still has a little bit left on its fastball.Eyebrows were raised statewide last week when it was announced the district had hired Dr. Sean McDaniel as its interim superintendent.Actually, it was more than eyebrows raising.

• CIMARRON ANNUAL MEETING IS THURSDAY: Cimarron Electric Cooperative will host its 90th annual meeting this Thursday. It will be held at the Kingfisher County Fairgrounds. Registration begins at 4 p.m. The cooperative will begin serving a free meal at 5 p.m.
