Commissioners make quick work of agenda

Kingfisher County commissioners approved a $1,500 payment to Durbin, Larimore and Bialick, P.C., for condemnation legal fees on the Robberts Avenue bridge project over Uncle John Creek Monday. In the only other actions in the 10-minute meeting, commissioners approved naming Randy Poindexter, newly-named county emergency management director, as requisitioning officer for all emergency management/LEPC (planning committee) accounts, the minutes for the Dec. 15 meeting and purchase orders, warrants and payroll for Dec. 22.

It was announced that the courthouse would be closed Wednesday through Friday for the Christmas holiday.

All commissioners – Anthony Schwarz, District 3, chairman; Jeff Moss, District 1, vice-chairman, and Michael Sparks, District 2 – along with County Clerk Emily Lee, minute clerk, and Sheriff Aaron Pitts were present.

Also present were Poindexter and citizen visitor Kevin Lan attended the meeting.
