County considering pair of bids for chip and oil work

Kingfisher County Commissioners opened six-month bids from two companies Monday to provide chip and oil work in all three commissioner districts.

Bids from Zyzer LLC of Kingfisher and Circle C Paving and Construction of Lawton were opened, then tabled for action at next week’s meeting to allow time for staff to get tabulation totals.

A construction plat of Block 7 – Lots 3, 4, 5 and 6 to the South Kingfisher addition, a part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 27-16-7 – received approval from commissioners.

In other action, commissioners approved the following:

• Right-of-way permit to Ovintiv Energy for a pipeline road crossing located three miles south and two miles west of Loyal, District 3.

• Access Drive for Charles Swisher with a 24-inch culvert at a point one mile north and one mile east then back north from College Hill, in East Kingfisher, District 1.

• Six road crossing permits for BCEMach III Midstream Holdings LLC, including two in District 1 both located three miles north and six miles east of Kingfisher, and four in District 2 located five miles south and three miles east of Hennessey.

All commissioners – Anthony Schwarz, District 3, chairman; Jeff Moss, District 1, vice chairman and Mike Sparks, District 2 – were present along with County Clerk Emily Lee, official minute clerk, County Engineer Nik Smith, Sheriff Aaron Pitts, Johnny Roe of Circle C Paving, Brad Wittrock of Zyzer, Matthew Knapski and Kelly Buck of Kingfisher.
