Commissioners continued their search for a new Kingfisher County Emergency Manage- ment director this week.

A fifth interview was conducted during a special meeting on Tuesday morning.

The meeting began at 10 a.m. and the interview took place during executive session.

Commissioners adjourned the meeting after 35 minutes without taking any other action.

The first round of interviews was last Thursday in which commissioners spoke with three candidates.

They were assisted in that interview process by Blaine County Emergency Management Director Jim Shelton.

Shelton also joined commissioners in interviews on Friday and Tuesday, accord ing to meeting minutes. No other interviews are currently scheduled. The next regularly scheduled commissioners’ meeting is 9 a.m. Monday, Dec. 1.
