Farmers Market’s 2025 season starts
The TSET Healthy Living Program announces the opening of the Kingfi sher Farmers Market for the 2025 season.
Weather permitting, opening day is this Saturday, May 3, from 8 a.m. to noon. It will be located on the lot at 505 N. Main St. in Kingfisher.
The market is free and open to the public and will continue to operate on the first and third Saturdays of every month through October.
“The market will benefit the community by supporting local growers, makers and bakers and offering locally-grown fruits and vegetables to the town and its visitors,” said Isabella Valderrama, wellness coordinator for the TSET Healthy Living Program of Kingfisher County.
The market will offer a variety of products, including fresh vegetables and fruits, bread, gluten-free treats, muffins, jellies and jams and handmade can- dles, artwork and jewelry.
Vendors are welcome to participate at no cost by contacting the market’s Facebook page.
“I’m excited to see the community of Kingfisher come alive by supporting local growers, makers and bakers. Fresh fruits and vegetables are a wonderful offering for our town and its visitors,” said Valderrama. “I can’t wait to welcome everyone who comes out and makes healthy living a priority for themselves and their families. We urge you to walk, bike or roll to our market and enjoy what there is to offer.”
