Franks served her final meeting as a board member after 10 years of service. “It was a privilege to serve the kids of our district the last 10 years,” Franks told the KT&FP. “I will continue to support the Kingfisher school district and the amazing teachers who teach our children. KPS is a great school system and I look forward to seeing its growth in the coming years.” Bill Reitz, who was the lone person to file for the seat opened up by Franks’ departure, will be sworn in at the April meeting unless there is a special meeting called before then.
