Longtime Kingfisher firm merges with new group
One of the most established law offices in Kingfi sher has been acquired by an outside firm.
Bass Law announced this week it has acquired and merged with Schulte, Schneiter & Gibson located on Main Street in Kingfi sher.
Bass Law, with offices already in El Reno and Oklahoma City, will assume operations of the Schulte, Schneiter & Gibson Kingfisher office, which has served the community for many decades.
Paul Schulte, who has practiced law in Kingfisher since 1982 and has earned a distinguished reputation throughout the region, will retire from the active practice of law as part of the merger but will remain available to assist with client transitions.
Katie Schneiter, who has practiced law in Kingfisher for more than 20 years, will continue her practice with Bass Law at the Kingfisher office.
Schneiter’s longtime legal assistant, Jennifer Snodgrass, will also join Bass Law.
“This merger positions our firm for continued growth while preserving the legacy of trusted legal service that Schulte, Schneiter & Gibson has provided in Kingfisher for so many years,” said Bass Law Managing Partner Jana Knott. “Paul and Katie chose our firm for this transition because of Bass Law’s strong reputation for high-quality legal services, built over the decades since our founding in 1934.
“They share our values and standards and we are proud to move forward together as we expand the communities that we serve.”
Principals involved say the merger enhances Bass Law’s ability to provide comprehensive legal services in the region, including family law, civil litigation, real estate, probate, trust administration, estate planning, oil and gas, dispute resolution and general counsel services.
