County details summer chip & seal plans

Kingfisher County commissioners have approved a notice to proceed for county chip and seal projects scheduled this summer.

The winning bidder, Circle C Paving and Construction of Lawton, has indicated it will begin work on the projects in May.

Kingfisher County commissioners and Engineer Nik Smith provided the Times & Free Press with the roads that are scheduled for work in the coming months.

They are provided below as well as in the graphics on Page 1 of this edition.

By district, the roads scheduled for work include:

District 1

• N2850 from E750 to E760;

• E750 from N2850 to Railroad Tracks;

• N2860 from E760 to E780;

• N2810 from E790 to HWY 33;

• N2880 from HWY 33 to E840;

• E840 from HWY 81 to N2850;

• E830 from N2980 to N2990.

District 2

• N2740 from HWY 51 to County Line;

• N2770 from HWY 51 to E630;

• E600 half mile west from HWY 132;

• E610 half mile east from N2800;

• N2800 from E610 to E640;

• N2820 quarter mile south from HWY 51;

• E640 half mile west from HWY 81;

• E670 from N2830 to half-mile west of N2820;

• E660 from N2920 to N2970;

• E680 from N2920 to N2930;

• E700 from HWY 81 to N2950.

District 3

• N2830 from HWY 33 to E840;

• E840 from HWY 81 to N2840;

• E830 from N2830 to Kingfisher City Limit;

• E820 from N2830 to Kingfisher City Limit;
