Shiny and bright . . .
. . . and open for business
Kingfisher Winter Nights celebrated its 2025 opening night last Saturday. The opening was commemorated by the lighting of a 55-foot Norwegian Spruce that’s planted at the north entrance of Kingfisher Park. Selected for the honor of lighting the tree this year were Dennis and Tammy Mueggenborg, owners of Designs by Dennis. They are pictured with grandchildren Kennedy Winters and Maxwell Mueggenborg. The crowd was treated to Christmas carols by members of the Kingfisher High School choir and they were addressed by Mayor Geoff Covalt and Chamber Board President Ellen Wilfong. KWN will be open every night through Dec. 27. Hours are 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and it’s open 6 to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Santa will also visit every Friday and Saturday night except Dec. 26 and 27. [KT&FP Staff Photos]
