TASSLES AND TITLES
Last Saturday proved to be a momentous one in Kingfi sher County. Hubert Haag, left, was one of 89 Kingfi sher High School seniors to walk to the stage as part of the school’s 132nd graduating class. A total of 91 graduated in all. The ceremony included the annual KHS Hall of Fame induction (see below) as well as some special honors. Also recognized was Cricket Kaya, a KHS and University of Oklahoma graduate who was recently announced as a prestigious Fulbright Scholar. The Class of 2025 also presented the family of Luke Strickland with an honorary diploma. Luke would have been a part of this graduating class, but passed away in 2022. See more on the ceremony and the scholarship dollars offered to this graduating class in upcoming editions. On the right is Cashion baseball coach Blake Mounce with his family after the Wildcats made history Saturday by winning the Class 2A-I state championship.
