• PARLOR JAMS: The Chisholm is hosting its final Parlor Jams session of the season. It will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, at Horizon Hill.
This live acoustic jam will be led by “The Flyn’ Fiddler” Wayne Cantwell. Guests can watch, listen or join in. It’s free for musicians of all levels, but only acoustic instruments are allowed.
• DOVER FIRE DEPT. BENEFIT: The Dover Fire Department is hosting its annual benefit dinner Saturday, Oct. 25. It is planned from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Hamburgers, hot dogs, smoked hog, sides, chips and a dessert will be served and donations will be accepted. For more information, see the ad in this edition.
• YOUTH GROUP FOOD DRIVE: The Sts. Peter & Paul youth group will be conducting its annual food collection drive to benefit the Kingfisher County Food Bank.
Youth group members will be walking doorto- door in Kingfisher and collecting donated non-perishable food items from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29.

• ANNUAL TURKEY DINNER: Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church will be serving its annual turkey dinner Sunday, Nov. 2. It will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Ross Hall. There is a drive-thru option. For more information, see the ad in this edition.
• PITCH TOURNAMENT: Kingfisher County Senior Citizens Center is hosting a pitch tournament on the last day of the month. It will begin at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31. Bring a partner and arrive at noon for sign-up. Refreshments will be available and there is a prize for first place. For more information, see the ad in this edition.
• VETERANS BREAKFAST: Kingfi sher Elks Lodge will host those who served in the military with its annual Veterans Day breakfast at 7 a.m.
