• GINGERBREAD HOUSE CONTEST: Sponsored by the Friends of the Library, entries can be taken to the Kingfisher Memorial Library from Dec. 4 until 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, when they will be judged.

• CHRISTMAS CRAFT FAIR: The Cheyenne & Arapaho Tribes are hosting a Christmas Craft Fair on Saturday, Dec. 6. It will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Kingfisher ERC, 400 W. Erwin. It will feature food, books, unique gifts and decor and a chainsaw artist.

• BLAINE COUNTY BAZAAR: Blaine County OHCE is hosting a Holiday Bazaar & Santa’s Village on Saturday, Dec. 6. It will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Blaine County Fairgrounds in Watonga. It will feature booths with Christmas crafts, holiday decor, food and more. For more information, see the ad in our Nov. 26 edition.

• PARADE AND FIREWORKS: Kingfi sher Chamber of Commerce’s biggest annual event is Saturday, Dec. 6. The parade, which starts at 6 p.m., is the exclamation point on a full day of activities that includes a 5K run, movie matinee, craft show, food trucks, downtown shopping and eating and much more. And after the parade will be a magical fireworks show.
