GINGERBREAD HOUSE CONTEST: Sponsored by the Friends of the Library, entries can be taken to the Kingfisher Memorial Library from Dec. 4 until 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, when they will be judged.

CHRISTMAS CRAFT FAIR: The Cheyenne & Arapaho Tribes are hosting a Christmas Craft Fair on Saturday, Dec. 6. It will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Kingfisher ERC, 400 W. Erwin. It will feature food, books, unique gifts and decor and a chainsaw artist.

BLAINE COUNTY BAZAAR: Blaine County OHCE is hosting a Holiday Bazaar & Santa’s Village on Saturday, Dec. 6. It will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Blaine County Fairgrounds in Watonga. It will feature booths with Christmas crafts, holiday decor, food and more. For more information, see the ad in our Nov. 26 edition.

SHOP KINGFISHER FIRST: Be sure to check out our “Shop Local” editions each week as Kingfisher merchants provide great local shopping opportunities for the holidays.

PARADE AND FIREWORKS: Kingfi sher Chamber of Commerce’s biggest annual event is Saturday, Dec. 6. The parade, which starts at 6 p.m., is the exclamation point on a full day of activities that includes a 5K run, movie matinee, craft show, food trucks, downtown shopping and eating and much more. And after the parade will be a magical fireworks show.
