Kingfisher County Republican Women will continue a series of hosting gubernatorial candidates next week. The group hosts former Speaker of the Oklahoma House Charles McCall.

Cimarron Electric Cooperative is set to host its 89th annual membership meeting next week. It will be held Thursday, Sept. 11, at the Kingfisher County Fairgrounds.

Fraud awareness will be the topic of a seminar this week. It will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 5, at the Kingfisher County Fairgrounds Exhibit Building.

It is being hosted by F&M Bank.

It is free to the public and will cover a number of important topics presented by Staff Sgt. Tara Hardin of the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Department.

A boot scootin’ good time is promised Saturday, Oct.

18. The Chisholm and Kingfisher County 4-H are hosting a barn dance at the Kingfisher County Fairgrounds.

The family-friendly event will be held from 7 to 9 p.m.

It will feature live music, dancing, food and more.

Grief Share resumed at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 18, and will meet weekly through November.

This free service is held at First Baptist Church in Kingfisher and is designed to offer help and encouragement after the death of a spouse, child, family member or friend.
