The Kingfisher County assessor’s field appraisers will be visually inspecting property in Okarche, Cashion, Piedmont, Crescent, Covington, Okeene, Cimarron and Drummond this year.

Field appraisers will be in a marked vehicle,” said Assessor Carrie Turner. “They also have name badges to identify themselves.”

Turner pointed out that state statute 68 gives the assessor and appointed deputies “the power and authority to go upon any premises and enter any business building or structure and view the same and the property therein and to view, inspect or appraise any property located within this county.”
