Before handing out Christmas gifts this holiday season, perhaps consider donating blood.

The annual “Battle of the Banks” blood drive hosted by the Oklahoma Blood Institute is planned later this month in Kingfisher.

It’s scheduled from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21, at the Interbank Community Room. There will also be a “Bloodmobile” on site..

Donors will receive their choice of a long sleeve t-shirt plus a VUDU movie rental pass, a free COVID-19 antibody test, a holiday ornament and a chance to win a $500 Visa gift card.
