The Hennessey Farmerettes OHCE Club met Aug. 8 for its monthly meeting in the home of DeDee Krueger.

The meeting was opened by President Pansy Wheeler and the flag salute was led by Kathy Patocka.

Mary Curry gave the devotion - “Legacy of Prayer.”

Roll call was answered by 10 members.

The minutes of the July meeting were read and the treasurer’s report was given.

Dot Miller provided the lesson “Healthy Cast Iron Cooking” and several members brought cast iron cookware to show and tell about.

Refreshments of artichoke dip, specialty bread, apple crisp and ice cream were served.
