Two people were injured Nov. 10 in a one-vehicle accident north of Kingfisher.

Evander Yanito, 30, of Chickasha, and Nicole Gonzalez, 30, of Oklahoma City were both transported from the scene by Kingfisher EMS to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

Both were admitted in stable condition. Yanito suffered trunk injuries while the injuries suffered by Gonzalez were unknown, according to a report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

The report said Yanito was driving south in a 2020 “IC Corp armored truck” on County Road 2830 when he lost control and it departed the road about 2/10 of a mile north of East County Road 750.

The vehicle rolled 3/4 time and into a barbed wire fence.

Members of the Kingfisher Fire Department and Kingfisher EMS had to extract Yanito from the vehicle, the report said.

It also stated both people were wearing seatbelts.
