2 KHS seniors are Rotary Club guests

Two Kingfisher High School seniors were guests recently at a meeting of the Kingfisher Rotary Club.

Joining the local civic group were Mia Hartman and Emiley Watkins.

Hartman is the daughter of Chad and Leah Hartman.

She’s active in STUCO, cheerleading and was a member of the 2023 state championship team and was a national semi-finalist in FFA.

Hartman is also vice president of the National Honor Society and a member of the Oklahoma Honor Society and the Center of Family Love Teen Board.

She’s on the superintendent’s honor roll, has a 4.0 G.P.A. and is a member of the Kingfisher First Baptist Church youth group.

Hartman plans to attend Oklahoma State University and major in applied exercise science, with goals of becoming a pediatric physical therapist.

Watkins is the daughter of Scott and Shelly Watkins.

She’s STUCO vice president, yearbook editor and is a member of the Oklahoma Honor Society and serves as president of the National Honor Society.

Watkins is on the Fellowship of Christian Athletes leadership team, has received the Academic Award and 4.0 Award and is on the 84 and Me board.

She’s also on the superintendent’s honor roll and a member of the Kingfisher First Baptist youth group.

Watkins plans to attend Oklahoma Baptist University and major in business marketing.
