Camp 4-H WILD! was held June 23-24 at the Kingfisher County Fairgrounds.

The day camp consisted of 4-H members from Blaine, Garfield and Kingfisher counties.

While at camp on the first day, the campers participated in workshops taught by 4-H teen leaders from each of the counties.

They made things such as seed art, fishing knots, felt bags, designed and painted plates, made butter, pinecone bird feeders, and learned to make beef jerky.

In addition, they made paracord bracelets.

The 4-Hers created two bracelets, one they got to keep and the other to be sent to soldiers.

The second day, the 4-H members learned about animal skins and skulls from an Dr. Kevin Allen, OSU professor in the Natural Resources Department.

They also made animal tracks and learned about healthy living from an intern from the state 4-H Office.

Lily Sestak, the state 4-H vice president, also taught team building activities.
