Kingfisher County Treasurer Robin Rother sent out 15,307 statements totaling $46,084,398 owed for 2022 county ad valorem taxes.

Taxpayers are required to pay at least half of their property tax balance by Jan. 2, but then have until March 23 to pay the remaining half.

In addition to cash, check or credit card, electronic checks also are accepted as payment this year.

Credit cards and e-checks both carry an additional fee.

Payment can be dropped off or mailed to the treasurer’s office at 101 S. Main St., Room 4, Kingfi sher, OK 73750.

An after-hours drop box also is available to the right of the west (front) exterior courthouse doors.

“Please don’t leave cash in the outdoor drop box,” Rother said.
