7 pallets of onions & 3,296 meals...all for a good cause
The Lomega Student Council recently volunteered at the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City. Students spent the afternoon packaging fresh produce and items for the after-school backpack program. With the help of other volunteers, they were able to package seven pallets full of onions and 3,296 meals for the backpack program. The Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma provides help to 53 counties across the state, with one of those being Kingfi sher County.
