The Lomega High School girls cross country team was announced as the 2022 Class 2A academic state champion. The Lady Raiders were recognized during last weekend’s cross country state championship awards ceremony at Edmond Santa Fe High School. Team members include, from left: coach Justin Edsall, Samantha Rivera, Abi Yost, Monse Rivera, Darcy Roberts, Madi Myers, Kate Myers, Hadley Ott and Aliana Lawson. The team carried a combined 4.0 grade point average to claim the state championship. This academic state championship came after both the Lomega girls and boys won Class A academic state titles for the 2022 Class A track and fi eld season last spring. [Photo provided]
