All county municipalities see July sales tax gains
All Kingfisher County municipalities showed gains in their sale tax collections for July, according to figures released by the Oklahoma Tax Commission.
Dover led the county in percentage of gain over July 2021 at 100% with Loyal close behind at 91.4%.
Kingfisher County showed a 2.4% smaller July check from its 1.25% tax.

The July 2022 distribution of sales tax collections by the Oklahoma Tax Commission primarily represents local tax receipts from May business. Companies that remit more than $2,500 monthly in sales tax receipts are required to file and pay electronically.
The monies they reported this period represent sales from May 16-30 and estimated sales from June 1-15.
The disbursement of $194,656,884 in sales tax collections returned to the cities and towns reflected an increase of $14,386,010 from the $180,270,874 distributed to the cities and towns in July last year. The use tax disbursement to cities and towns was $31,042,126.
In county returns, the counties shared in a $32,855,555 sales tax disbursement and a $5,541,952 use tax disbursement.
