Altizer, Osterholt are Junior Lions

Kingfisher High School seniors Brayden Osterholt and Emily Altizer are the January 2025 Junior Lions.

The two were guests at a recent meeting of the Kingfisher Lions Club.

Osterholt is the son of Amanda Osterholt.

He’s active in drama and theatre and is a member of the National Honor Society and academic team.

Osterholt was also a Oklahoma Boys State delegate, a QuestBridge finalist, received first place in American Literature at the Southwestern Oklahoma Interscholastic Meet and scored a 36 in both reading and math on the ACT.

He plans to pursue a degree in environmental engineering.

Altizer is the daughter of Coye and Kathy Altizer.

She’s active in FFA and was a member of the You Gotta Believe Livestock Camp champion fitting team and the northwest regional third place animal science quiz bowl team.

Altizer is also a member of the National Honor Society, is a wrestling manager, received placings in two subjects at SWIM and is a member of the Church of the Nazarene.

She plans to attend Oklahoma State University and major in animal science/ pre-vet.
