The Altrua Club, supporters of the Chisholm Trail Museum, met on Nov. 16, 2022, at the Chisholm Trail Museum.

Members present were Keri Bivins, Carolyn Flood, Dana Golbek, Jneanne Kadavy, Jeanette Kloeppel, Terri Peck, Sue Robinson and Jowanna Sisk.

Chisholm Trail Museum Director Jason Harris gave a brief update on the museum renovation.

Bivins provided the program about “Decorating for Christmas in the Past.”

She talked about the log cabin at the museum and what the early settlers might have had available to use for decorating.

She also shared some old Christmas cards.

Altrua members invite anyone interested in becoming a member to attend their next meeting at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, at the museum.
