In cooperation with Oklahoma Elks Major Projects and Oklahoma State Troopers Association, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol’s 49th Annual Cadet Lawmen Academy is accepting applications.

Applicants must be a high school senior for the school year 2023-2024 with a grade point average of 2.0 or higher.

The free weeklong camp is held from June 4-10 at Conners State College in Warner.

It gives students handson OHP training in areas such as working K9s, driving a patrol vehicle, flying in an OHP plane and going out on patrol boats.

Applicants must be submitted by April 1 and can be found at cadetlawman.com.
