Two people, including a juvenile, were injured last Friday when their vehicle struck a semi-truck west of Hennessey.

According to a report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 30-year-old Sa-mantha Jean Winegeart of Okeene was in stable condition with an ankle injury.

Also in stable condition was a juvenile female, one of two juveniles who were listed as passengers in Winegeart’s 2020 Ford Explorer.

A juvenile male was not injured, the report said, though all three were transported via ambulance to St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Enid and then to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

The report said Wine-geart was driving west on State Highway 51 when a 2019 Mack truck driven by Kendall Tarron Willheite, 47, Anadarko, pulled onto the highway.

The truck was northbound on County Road 2830 and had stopped at a stop sign before attempting to pull across S.H. 51, the report said.

The Explorer struck the truck and left the road to the right before coming to a rest.

Willheite was not injured, the report said.
