David and Barbara Glascock, formerly of Beaver, are new residents of Kingfisher. They dropped by the Times and Free Press office Monday to start a subscription to the oldest continuously- published newspaper in Oklahoma.

David served as preacher at the Beaver church of Christ for 32 years before retiring.

He served as preacher of churches in Kansas and Colorado before going to Beaver.

They moved to Kingfisher to be closer to their son and daughter who now live in Oklahoma City. They say they are close enough here to regularly visit their children and grandchildren and still avoid the big city traffic.
