Kingfisher High School seniors Conner Askey and Raegan Snider were the October 2024 Junior Lions.

The two were guests at multiple meetings of the Kingfisher Lions Club last month.

Askey is the son of Eugene and April Askey.

He’s active in cross country, is taking pre-engineering classes at Chisholm Trail Technology Center and received the Outstanding Mathematics Award at CTTC.

Askey is also a member of the Oklahoma Honor Society and National Honor Society, earned a 36 on the reading portion of the ACT and attends First Baptist Church.

He plans to attend Oklahoma State University and pursue a degree in computer science.

Snider is the daughter of Brent and Steph Snider.

She’s active in golf in which she was a regional champion and a three-time state qualifier, basketball in which she was a member of two state quarterfinal teams, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and is on the Center of Family Love Teen Board.

Snider is involved in STUCO and serves as president, a member of the Oklahoma Honor Society and National Honor Society and Holy Trinity Catholic Church youth group.

She plans to attend Northwestern Oklahoma State University where she will be a member of the basketball team and major in pre-medicine.
