Kingfisher High School seniors Eli Johnson and Libbie Barnett are the October 2023 Junior Lions.

The two were guests at last week’s meeting of the Kingfisher Lions Club.

Johnson is the son of Jeff and Amy Johnson.

He’s active in baseball, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, STUCO and is a member of the National Honor Society and Oklahoma Honor Society.

Johnson has also received the 4.0 Award, is a Student of the Month and is involved in Michael Swisher Media and the Kingfisher First Baptist Church youth group.

He plans to attend Oklahoma State University and major in accounting.

Barnett is the daughter of Fay and Tiffanie Barnett.

She’s active in cheerleading and was a member of the 2023 4A championship team and is also involved in STUCO, FCA and Students Stepping Up.

Barnett is also a member of the National Honor Society and Oklahoma Honor Society, has received the 4.0 Award, was Miss Great Plains Teen - Oklahoma, is on the Center of Family Love Teen Board and attends LifeChurch.

She plans to attend OSU to pursue a pre-law degree, followed by law school.
