A special meeting is set this week for Kingfisher County commissioners to interview candidates for the open position of director of county emergency management.

The meeting is set for 9 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 20.

The interviews will be conducted in executive ses- sion, which are not open to the public.

The agenda does call for the executive session “to conduct inverviewing and possible hiring of potential candidates...”

Commissioners have requested the assistance of Blaine County Emergency Management Diretor Jim Shelton during the interviews.

A replacement is being sought for Ryan Deatherage, who resigned last month.
