Oklahoma Energy Producers Alliance (OEPA) hosted a lunch-and-learn Friday, April 12, at Teocalli Exploration in Kingfisher.

The approximately 30 members in attendance were educated by Rose Rock Environmental Services on the Environmental Protection Agency’s recent methane abatement rules.

At the luncheon, OEPA Chairman Tom McCasland III presented Kurt Bollenbach of Teocalli the 20232024 Member of the Year Award.

Directly after the luncheon, OEPA leaders took Sen. Darcy Jech of Kingfi sher and Sen. Julia Kirt of Oklahoma City on a tour of a Teocalli well site.

Teocalli production team members Julian Ludwig, Taylor Burpo and Scott Garvin walked the legislators through the production cycle of a vertical well and the gas gathering process.

The OEPA represents the rights of Oklahoma’s traditional producers at the state Capitol and the Oklahoma Corporation Commission.

The OEPA is active in the legislative and regulatory processes with the objective to promote, preserve and protect small business oil and gas producers.

“The OEPA has done an amazing job of promoting fair energy production throughout the state of Oklahoma,” Bollenbach said. “The members are quick to lend a helping hand to other producers in need of assistance. Our OEPA membership is invaluable to our operations.”
