Dear Supporters, There is much to report this week.

I am pushing our message out and together we are pushing those in power. If you have any critique or advice, I am open to hearing it.

• OK-District 2 Representative, Josh Brecheen/ Dan Hourigan (Josh’s District Manager): I have had several nice interchanges with Dan. He has been among, if not the most, supportive and encouraging person we have encountered within government to date. KEYPOINT:We are called to speak truth to both friend and foe. Please let me know if you find any fault with our message.

• Sen. Braun: As mentioned in past weeks, the failure of his staff to set up the coordination meeting he promised is a major problem. We are currently enlisting prayer and patience to try to overcome this obstacle. But push is coming to shove. KEYPOINT: We are trying to walk a fine line between needed pressure and alienation. We welcome your thoughts.

• Gene Rainbolt: By God’s grace, we were able to have a long sought in-person meeting with Mr. Rainbolt this week. Our goal was to be kind and professional, but also direct. Furthermore, we sought to put God and Country in the forefront, and ourselves in the shadows. KEYPOINT: We need people of Mr. Rainbolt’s level of influence to join with us. Please pray that God will convict his heart to join us.

• Super Bowl: Did you watch the Super Bowl? If so, did you notice the Jesus ads? I have learned that these ads had garnered a fair amount of attention, even before Super Bowl Sunday. But the ads caught me by complete surprise. I was really blown away that some group, (mostly anonymous), would spend this kind of money to put out such a selfless message. KEYPOINT: This message is very much on track with our own message. Its heart is right where our heart is. Its supporters are like our own; they are giving of themselves for the greater good with no expectation of personal gain whatsoever. I encourage you to spend fifteen minutes at www. hegetsus.com.
