BRIDGE DEDICATION — The new pedestrian bridge at Newfield Community Park was dedicated Thursday with project coordinator John Gooden, bridge designers and constructors Ray Dean and Carol Hill, members of Kingfisher Trails Inc. board and local dignitaries on hand. “Ray incorporated lines that harken back to historic Oklahoma bridges,” Gooden said. “The excellence one sees in it is unmistakable. There are other communities trying to do similar things at much greater expense and much lower quality.
