If you’ve served in any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces, local organizations want to honor you next Friday on Veterans Day.

The 103rd annual Veterans Day Breakfast hosted by the Keith Lowry/Henry Ellyson American Legion Post No. 5 will be bigger and better than ever.

The complimentary breakfast will be served from 7:30-9 a.m. Friday at the Kingfisher Elks Lodge.

Kingfisher’s own Emily Faith Sanders will perform the National Anthem at 8 a.m.

Additional hosts this year include the Kingfisher Elks Club and Kingfisher Chamber of Commerce.

Veterans and their families also are invited to attend a complimentary luncheon hosted by the KHS Student Council immediately following the 11 a.m. Veterans Day Assembly at the All-Purpose Building.

Those planning to attend the luncheon are asked to RSVP to Amy Pearson at apearson@kingfisher.k12.ok.us and include the number of family members they will bring with them.
