Candidate forum set Thursday
A free public forum featuring Republican candidates for seven state offices is scheduled Thursday evening at Kingfisher Heritage School auditorium. Doors open at 5:45 p.m.
Doors open at 5:45 p.m. with refreshments and a meet and greet with candidates in the gym.
Mike Sanders, former state representative, will moderate the forum, which will follow in the auditorium. Republican candidates
Republican candidates for the offices of State Senate, Dist. 26, Oklahoma Corporation Commission, State Attorney General, State Superintendent of Public Instruction, State Treasurer, State Labor Commissioner and State Auditor and Inspector will be given an opportunity to speak.
State Rep. Mike Dobrinski of Okeene, who was re-elected to his District 59 house seat without opposition, also will speak.
The event is organized and sponsored by Kingfisher County Republican Women.
“I hope everyone takes advantage of this opportunity to inform their vote prior to the June 28 primary election,” KCRW President Toni Pickle said.
