Celebrating SPRING!

From networking opportunities to Easter fun to a walking challenge, the local calendar of warm weather events is heating up.

COFFEE VIBE

The second of three networking coffees hosted by the chamber for young professionals (under 40) and young businesses (in operation less than five years) is scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at Jacksons of Kingfisher. City Hall will host the last one on April 21.

EASTER EGG HUNT

This annual chamber event for ages 2-10 starts at 10 a.m. Saturday in the field between Heritage School and the middle school. Local businesses are sponsoring prize baskets but every participant is guaranteed candy, fun and a photo op with the Easter Bunny himself. (See Page 3 for details about Hennessey’s egg hunt.)

WOMEN IN BIZ

A first-ever luncheon for local businesswomen is noon, Thursday, April 28, at Scissortail Crossing Events Venue. Admission is free for chamber members, $12 for guests.

WALK THIS MAY

Kingfisher Community Collaborative’s popular month-long Walktober walking challenge will be repeated next month as Walk This May. Teams of five or fewer are invited to sign up for $10 a person, which includes a t-shirt and access to a phone app to track steps for the month. Watch future editions for more details.
