CITY OF KINGFISHER RECOGNIZES FARRAR, STEWART
HONORING SERVICE – Two people were recognized Monday during the Kingfisher City Commission meeting for their service to the community. On the left is Mayor Geoff Covalt presenting a gift to Kaci Farrar, whose term as a city commissioner came to a close. Farrar was appointed to the commission last year and served until an election could be held last week. On the right, former Fire Chief Tony Stewart’s appreciation tour continued as he was presented gifts and tokens of appreciation from the city. Stewart recently retired after working for the fire department for four decades, including 10 years as chief. For more from Monday’s meeting, see the weekend edition. [KT&FP Staff Photos]
