CLAUS-MIC ENCOUNTERS AHEAD

By

We know you’ve seen him around already, but starting this weekend, this dude is going to be

busy and the odds for a local sighting are extremely high.

On Saturday, you’ll see him in Kingfisher’s lighted Christmas parade at 6 p.m. on Main Street (along with his retired predecessor, who is this year’s Grand Marshal.)

Then, if you make a trip through Kingfisher Winter Nights’ lighted displays at Kingfi sher Park after the parade, you’ll find Santa there too.

Behind the scenes, he’ll be assembling gifts for struggling families to be distributed at

Santa’s Toyland and could use some help from businesses, organizations and individuals. Donations can be dropped off at

Kingfisher City Hall (also where eligible families can still pick up and submit applications before the Dec. 6 deadline.

We’ll be accepting letters to Santa through Friday, Dec. 9, for publication in the newspaper.
