Combses page for Dobrinski

By

Brothers Keylun and Keynun Combs paged for Rep. Mike Dobrinski, R-Okeene, during the week of April 7.

Both are seniors at Kingfi sher High School and the sons of former Rep. Tom and Erin Newell and Chris and Jamie Combs.

House pages run messages to legislators while they are in the chamber and they help in their Capitol offices.

Pages also participate in a mock session in which they learn legislative procedure and how to write legislation.

Keylun is on the University of Central Oklahoma’s President’s Leadership Council and the Leaders of Tomorrow Council as well the Principal’s Honor Roll at KHS.

He is an FFA State Farmer’s Degree recipient and an FFA National Milk Quality and Products Silver Rank individual.

After high school, Keylun plans to attend UCO to major in communication sciences.

He hopes to pursue a career in speech language pathology.

Keynun is a member of the National Honor Society and on the UCO Leaders of Tomorrow team.

He’s a Kingfisher FFA chapter officer, an Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs J. Rufus Fears Fellow and on the Oklahoma Energy Resources Board Student Board of Directors.

Keynun, too, hopes to attend UCO to major in business administration.

“These are both outstanding young men with many leadership qualities and accolades that have positioned them to do very well in their future,” Dobrinski said. “I was delighted to have them serve in my office for the week and get to share some insight on state government.”
